Project Scootabot: Wings by Dogezon Project Scootabot: Wings by Dogezon
Time taken: 9 hours

Pencils used: 2H, HB, B

I'm ... okay with this.

The wing design for Scootabot.

She's by no means complete yet, though I relish the thought of designing the rest of her!

Thoughts? (Constructive criticism is welcomed)

This really surprised me!
The wings has some really cool details, I weren't expecting that at all!!
And the details you have written down about where it will bend and how much makes this even more cooler!!
I wish there was some more details on the pony, just to make this pop out a little bit, but hey this is amazing just the way it is!!
Good work!

I like how you created the metallic feeling :) really nice! :D

But now I would like to know how she could fly with holes in her wings, but hey maybe that's magic ;3
What do you think?

"Zeerust" or "Retro-Futuristic" as it's otherwise known. Effectively it's a form of design based on classical ideas of the future - Flying Cars, Tin Can Robots etc, etc.

We usually tend to see this sort of thing used on fictional WWII era machines though - some of the better examples being the Dust Tabletop Game, which use plenty of machines in this sort of style.

I place it second only to Steampunk as my favorite design style X3

I think that several long-duration low-impulse solid rockets would do the trick just fine.

Nifty intricate design for that wing there. Discarding whether or not the thing's primary function is even plausible in its current state, I still nonetheless like it! :)

The design may be absolutely nuts, but I like it. I don't know why, properly the shading.
